Hello fellow sewers!
I am Shannon a 34 y/o female. My mother Donna is 54. We decided to attempt an informative and instructional blog on how to be a successful sewer because we both very much love to sew and I am currently injured and my mother is unable to work. Aside from giving us something to do that we love it also gives others a chance to learn a new skill that they may have always wanted to try. Together we have over 77 years experience in sewing. Now you can never achieve perfection but I do believe we create quality work that is well constructed. We are always looking out for a new challenge. We intend to blog on here about a variety of different sewing related topics. Our main goal is to write step by step instruction that is easy to follow. However, we may when the fancy strikes us include interesting sewing facts we have found or sales we find irresistible, I mean if you are a frequent sewer how can you pass up on the .99 cent patterns that are often found at Hancock Fabrics. I am sure there is more to add here but for now I am going to call it a night!
I hope you enjoy our blog!
